Barcelona: Morning City Visit

This tour departs from the bus terminal and continues to the port via Leyatena where you will see the Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter and Plaza St. Jaume. You will continue to the Olympic Village, then it's on to Montjuich for a panoramic view of the city and the port. The tour will take you past the Columbus Statue and on to the Olympic Stadium and St Jordi Palace. Then it's time for a visit to the Spanish Village and while there you'll have the opportunity to taste the famous Catalonian Cava.

The Gothic Quarter is Barcelona's historical and political center. With this walking tour you will discover not only Barcelona’s streets, squares and hidden corners but also the charm of its architecture. This tour starts off with the Roman Walls and towers dating back from the fourth century. You will continue with the fifteenth century Casa de la Pia Almoina and The Gothic Cathedral, where we will have the opportunity to admire the impressive fifteenth century cloister. You will also see the Casa de l'Ardiaca, a fifteenth century building which was once the archdeacons residence. Barcelona:Montserrat Morning Visit

A visit to the Royal Monastery at Escorial and to the Valley of the Fallen

Escorial was conceived by Phillip II as a monastery; now the Royal Pantheon has become a symbol of the greatness of the Spanish Empire. We visit the Basilica, Royal Palace, Royal Pantheons, Infantes Pantheons and the Chapter Rooms. Next we visit the Valley of the Fallen which is located in a forest valley and extends to 13.6 kilometers, 1350 meters above sea level. The 150 meter stone cross marks the height of the Basilica, completing the monument.

Madrid: Avila-Segovia Tour

Visit the beautiful walled city of Avila and see the impressive Roman Segovia in this full day excursion.

The city of Avila is completely encircled by eleventh century walls and looks more like a great castle than a living city—with its Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces and a fortified Cathedral from the twelfth century. The city was the birthplace of St Teresa de Jesus, the greatest mystic of the Catholic Church. We make a stop at Cerro de los Cuatro Postes to admire the views of the city and then visit the Basilica San Vicente and St Teresa's Convent. Then we depart towards Segovia and take some time for lunch. Segovia was a very important military city during the time of the Romans. The city was chosen by some of the Castilla's Kings as a summer residence and is preserved as a notable medieval center. We visit the Cathedral (the last gothic cathedral built in Spain) and the Alcazar, a spectacular castle.
